Making fun of MTV -- sorry, MVT -- is a little like making fun of George Bush: attacks on an easy target have gone on for so long that they're old and tired now. Except the MTV jokes have been going on for even longer. And unlike the president of the United States, if you don't like MTV you can just turn it off and ignore it. And also unlike the president MTV never does anything new which could justify new jokes.
That being said, I think the structure of the comis are spot-on. You have good timing, good use of pauses, explicit punchlines (though they could use more punch), and even easy-to-read spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. It's only the subject matter I don't find amusing.
And now for a personal opinion: although it's cool to establish characters in a comic, it makes it hard for readers who read one strip at a time to come in in the middle when you have a lot of jokes that rely on background knowledge of the characters. Not a big deal, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
In summary: I don't hate you. Keep stripping, though, and you'll get it. Or you won't. One or the other.
