I'm ashamed to call myself a comic creator.  Gar.  All me comics suck.  If anybody has some pointers, please, uh...point them out.

I think you have a lot of good ideas but you don't try to develop them very far.  Most of your premises could be funnied up a lot more but you seem to call a comic "finished" too soon and the reader is supposed to just laugh at the concept itself.  Think about it a little longer and go for a punchline.

By the way, I don't always take my own advice, but that's neither here nor there.

i don't think they're all that bad. these three i likey:

/comics/myles1890/379571/

/comics/myles1890/379573/

/comics/myles1890/379569/

better punchlines would help some of them though, like bipedophile said. but you've only made around 50 comics. i wouldn't beat yourself up too much. we all got better as we went. there was even a thread where everyone posted their first comic so we could all wallow in the suckiness of them. just keep writing what you find funny and you'll be fine

For a fun "we're all just learning to fly" experiment, go through some users first 25-50 comics and splash in the terrible horribleness.

Alrighty, thanks, guys.  I know about the first 50 comics and all, but it's just that I've been making a sprite comic on my computer (with Windows Paint - booyeah ) and it's pretty good, according to my friends and family.  But when I get on here, I just can't get any ideas.  But I'll keep going; I seem to be developing a certain liking to the site.

Oh, and mandingo, thankies.  The last comic you posted of mine was my favorite :D.

Wow, you use Paint for sprite comics? That's hardcore. I prefer comic making software for the drag and drop.

Just a personal question here- do you rip your own sprites? Or do you use free use ones? Because I've just started to rip and it takes a long time.

Well, since my Paint Shop Pro CD is screwy, I have to deal with free ones off the internet.  But it's easy to rip them on Paint.  Takes a long time, though...

And thankies for the "sucky" comment :p.

Have you tried using GIMP? It's like Photoshop, but more confusing and free!
