hi interweb friends-
so i had this awesome band in college (last year) and we did a whole lot of stuff, but one of the things we did was play a rock opera one night and one night only. we got our friends to sing and play horns in it, then we used a digital recorder and tried to record it over the next few weeks. sitting in a small room with a mic sucks way more than playing a thing live, but i think we did a pretty good job nonetheless. you can listen to it at www.sexpianoband.com . i'm happy with most of it, although i sure do wish the rocking out parts had some more oomph. also, we are not drunk, which i feel hurts our sound. i swear i am not going around the internet pimping this out. i'm only posting here because it was a creative outlet of mine for awhile, and brad used to give me recording advice back in the day , so i figured it was a nice full circle. it's about thirty minutes long and it streams on the website. this is one aspect of our sound and if you like it, i'll let you guys know when we re post a lot of our regular songs.
