we agreed to spend entirely too much money on equipment and lessons, just so that at a moments notice we can whip out our phallic metaphors and go at it...
and i am literally pissing myself in anticipation...

You may be right about this. Florentine does indeed involved fighting with two weapons - a larger one in the right hand and a smaller one in the left. However, I was under the impression that the larger weapon wasn't supposed to be very big - a short sword of some sort, like the viking langsax. That's how it was explained to me, anyway. However, it [u]is[/u] named after the city of Florence, a place with a lot of fencers and duellers. *shrug*

If I can be stuffed, I'll check on Google and see what I can find.
