For a while, this was one of my highest-rated comics.
What I like most about that comic is the way it plays out when someone sees it on the front page. They see the blank box and wonder what that comic could be about. When they click through, they realize that the only part they haven't already read is the title. Then the read the title, and get the joke. (I hope.)
Here's another one that works the same way:
So your job for this contest is to make comics that work like this: specifically, one-panel comics where the title is the punchline. They're allowed to have dialogue, even though my examples don't.
Here's the audience participation part: since the point of this contest is to make comics that work well on the front page, it would be nice if they actually showed up on the front page. If memory serves, comics need to have 4 or more votes and a score of 7.00 or higher to be eligible for display on the front page. So if you're able to rate comics, please rate the entries in this contest. I'm not asking you to rate them "good" if you don't think they are. Even an "okay" or "bad" will help them get the required number of votes.
I'll judge this contest next Monday, June 6th. Probably earlier rather than later.

The what mentioned above is total fiction. Please don't take it seriously!
