well this is unexpected. it seems i've won a comic contest, for the first time in a few years, so i have to try to remember how they work. i (the aardvark continued) wasn't here at the very beginning. stripcreator was something i heard about from wil wheaton, back when i used to spend time on his forum. maybe 12 years ago. wil's motto is get excited and make something, so he liked this place. so, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is tell me stories about the old days, especially featuring evil D. gossip, innuendo, make it up if you have to. it's not like he's going to hold a grudge and stalk you or anything. judging in a week, 10 days, who knows. bribes welcome.

so i guess i should have titled that cc638, stories of the old days with evilD. who was kaddar? who were the forumusers? i've met a few here and there. didnt evilD get banned for a few years, what was all that about? i could be mixing them up with someone else. i've been here a long time myself, just because i keep doing these. i never moved on to drawing real comics, or making little movies, or blipverts or whatever the kids call them these days. my life's still a mess and i never catch up with my list or my memos, but i muddle through and keep going. anyway, inform me, entertain me, dazzle me.

CC638: A Brief And Self-Indulgent History Of ZMannZilla by ZMannZilla 3-17-16

Hi! I'm Stripcreator donor ZMannZilla. My first comic series in 2005 was "To Serve Robot-Kind", a whimsical tale about the lighter side of being the last human in a robot apocalypse. It was awesome! We made tasteless jokes and I even got to eat a baby! When are we ever going to pick that back up? Probably never BobTron. My second serious attempt at a series was "This Is Tech Support", based loosely on things that happened to me when I did tech support for a video game company. Don't forget to mention the part where you specifically chose the title because the acronym was "TITS", you clever boy. I tried a lot of other series ideas, and somehow ended up settling with Porkman & Finchy. It's a formulaic two character set-up where I just type whatever brain fart occurs to me. Holy Cursewords Zilla! I've never been on this side of the panel before! It looks weird and smells like pork!
