I recently completed work on a full-length rap album. I decided to get a little weird with it, so if you like songs about zombified celebrities, herds of cats wearing man-shaped disguises, and small children eating bees, then this might be up your alley. I also did a song about Cthulhu.

As a nerdcore fan, this sort of thing is right up my alley.  Bought it blind, just listened to it, came here to offer a wish that your Fruit by the Foot has an extra yard.

Is "dinner bell ding" at the end of "Bag of Cats" an intentional They Might Be Giants reference?  Or do I just see TMBG everywhere?

Is "Don't Eat Bees" about the daughter you mention in the album notes?  I've never quite been sure how that word (her name) is pronounced.

There's a fair amount of TMBG inspiration in this album. However the Bag Of Cats lyric wasn't a direct attempt to reference TMBG, I just needed something that rhymed with "thing", lol.

And yep, Don't Eat Bees is about my daughter Sakura. The chorus is based on a weird game she made up about a year ago, where she would pretend to eat a bee and then you'd have to say "don't eat bees" and she would go "aaaaah". I have no idea where she got the idea for the game. But yeah, I'm hoping like 20 years from now she'll be digging through my things and run across that song and we'll get to have a warm Hallmark father/daughter moment.
