Considering that I'm at a school computer lab right now, that's a Bad Thing.

For some reason, it won't log me out at all.

Will the lab computer let you delete the stripcreator cookie? That would probably do the trick.

It's working here. Hmm.

If you're still around, show up on IRC or ICQ and I can try some things to see if I can figure out what the problem is.

You're probably using IE 6+ (wild assumption here) which has problems with logging out, in that it doesn't let you. It stores your login information no matter what, because everyone knows Microsoft Knows Best (tm). It's fucked up, but it's a fact of life.

I know this because it's documented as a bug on the b2 journal tool, which has logout issues with IE 6+. I think it's a compatability thing with PHP/MySQL and IE. But I'm not sure... a search on Microsoft.com for the bug yields only vague hints and no actualy admissions to a problem with their code.

I made a small change to the logging out code. Try it again Drexle, and let me know if there are any changes in behavior.

Hmm, I can't log out either, also, when I make a comic or post under a different name, I stay logged in as "Kajun Firefly". Even though the comic and post are made under the other account.

Okay, I never tried logging out until today, but I'm getting the same problem. The only way I can log out is to delete the stripcreator cookie and delete stripcreator.com from my cache.

Odd.

...And it's even worse than that... when I click "log out" and then view my profile, I get "deleted"s profile. And the button says "log out," so there's no way to log back in (short of changing the name and password in a forum post, I suppose.)

I actually forgot to email you in a second with some stuff to try. I did make this thing though:

http://www.stripcreator.com/logout2.php

This should clear your cookies. I'm still thinking this is all a duplicate cookie problem, but that could just be out of denial.
