I've been having fun with stripcreator and here are my first dozen and a half strips:

Most of your comics managed to hang casually around the border of funny without crossing over. They seemed to get better as you went on, though. I enjoyed these two:

Hey! You with the pencil! Yes? Why haven't I been in any of your comic strips? Ummm. I dunno. I haven't decided what to do with you yet. Great, another guy with committment issues. I heard that. This pencil has another end, you know.

Supersize by redtail1 1-20-03

Hello, welcome to McDonalds. One small order of fries, please. Would you like to supersize that? You pay 20¢ more and it costs us only 2¢ to make. Sure! And in other news, scientists now say that all chairs will be twice their current size by the year 2050. Wow, I wonder why?

And I found this one not funny but maybe, whimsical? amusing? Anyway, I liked it.

A couple of people I know have told me they like them. That's good enough for me. I wasn't looking for opinions when I posted the URL here.

But... that's the whole point of posting here.

For what it's worth, I pretty much agree with what's already been said. Your comics are okay but they could be better. The ones posted above are good. I don't care much for those that break the fourth wall. I just think the technique stops being funny after the first few times.

I think you have promise, so keep at it.

Man, what an ugly phone... He sees things only in black and white...

This one would've been better if the beatnik had been unable to see the phone at all. However, on the whole I quite like your strips. For early efforts, they're promising.
