serendipitously, i've run into a couple new webcomics. rustle the leaf is about a talking leaf, by the guy who did the racoon creek logo for us. hey, it's a better webcomic than mine

i mostly spent today on hold using up my minutes, arguing with the cable company, the cops, the electric and gas companies. i -hate- phones, but made some progress.
it took 4 layers of managers for the cable company to admit they can stop billing for the hookup to my already-stolen computer, without my giving them a ssn. - petty, but worth it.
