day 3 has been ridiculously easy so far. the room i hang out in gets hot, 78-82, because it's in the sun, so that makes me a bit tired, but it's way better than the noise of the big room.
i waste all day on reddit instead of working on my brief or doing items on the to do list like order noise-cancelling headphones. our adventures today included a walk outside, well more of a hang out
in the parking lot, and later i'll take a shower and maybe sort some of my files. i downloaded some ebooks to read because there are only 4 physical books here, only one of which is readable and i'm
nearly done. so there's some sensory deprivation problems at the time of day i cant get at my computer, and the other issue is avoiding the drama and noise of the more ghetto study participants.
but all in all it's been a lovely day, warm and quiet and calm.
i could go on a whole rant about how this company intentionally markets in the ghetto so they will get a less educated cadre who will put up with substandard conditions.
i'm starting to notice how the building has a lot of deferred maintenance issues where it's on its 5th set of owners and stuff that falls apart doesnt get fixed.
