They're a chicken place. Their ads usually include a cow with a poorly-written sign (since I guess cows who know how to write still can't write well) that says, "eet more chiken" or something like that.

That doesn't make the comic any funnier, although if it were rearranged a bit it might not be too bad.

FYI, I think Rally's and Checker's are the same thing. Dunno why there are two names. Probably a marketing thing.

Before I moved to Orlando, the only place I saw Chick-Fil-A was in malls, but now there's an actual restaurant a few blocks away from my house. Haven't eaten there, though. I prefer Steak 'n Shake.

BTW, I found the comic only slightly funnier than the time when I got chicken nuggets from Chick-Fil-A and they weren't cooked thoroughly. Couldn't eat there for years afterward.

Honestly, I was aware of White Castle, and I even bought a pack of twelve when they started marketing them in the freezer section of my grocery store a few years ago. But, as anyone who, in a drunken rage, bought a sack of 15 Krystal "burgers" and eaten them in one sitting (leading said person to nearly emptying the contents of his stomach on a dumpster in New Orlean's French Quarter) can assure you, they are the same exact thing as White Castles. So, my point is... uhm... that I... uhhh... forgot to put White Castle on my list.

I still can't believe that White Castle thinks that "steam grilled" is a good advertising hook. Not only is "steam grilled" an oxymoron, but most people balk at the idea of steamed beef.

"Steam grilled" sounds like something one should toss directly into the toilet to eliminate the middle-man.

White Castle started in the Kansas (we learn from the website), and I remember going to one in the Northern US when I was young. I think Krystal "restaurants" must have started in the South.

The Krystal website brags:
The average cow yields about 3,240 Krystal patties.

I've had both, and they're pretty much flat, steamed, tasteless beef by-products on a slimy, soggy bun.

Around my area, Krystal hamburgers are called GutBombs or ButtBusters. Tempting, eh?
