- getting to use the skills I learned in college at a mundane job. Who knew almost 8 years of technical design and geology would actually come in handy?

- Wyoming...the climate (i.e. opposite of the south), the distinct lack of people (least populated state in the US), the geology and paleontology, the mountains, and the giant-ass Yellowstone caldera that could change life as we know it if it ever erupts (praying for my lifetime).

- rock-climbing at Vedauwoo. In the summer. Cause doing it in the winter is not a good idea.
