For some reason I'm very open-minded when it comes to music. I like ICP. I like their lyrics, beats, whatever, and I don't like Slipknot. I listen to music for the, well, message and beat. Unlike a lot of people, apparently. Oh well. *sighs and awaits disses for not being a sheep and actually giving his honest opinion*

I'm still trying to figure out why someone would actually admit that they listen to ICP and/or Slipknot.

update: it was kind of okay. it was only an ep and they have like 80 other eps that are better than this one, but it was still better than their last album. maybe also better than the one before that but I don't know because if this had to be stretched out to a full length it would probably have more crap. if the best 8 tracks of their second to last album were the only tracks on there, it would be better than this. There aren't really any bad tracks on this but none of them are really great either. I think i've listened to it three times since I got it a month ago so I guess it wasn't that good after all. i had the choice of spending $15 on this cd which probably would suck, or pizza which would not suck. at times I wish I had bought the pizza but those times were mostly in the one day i didn't eat pizza and now I don't care and i've eaten pizza since and still have the cd so it all worked out and even if this cd sucked, it would be okay because i'd have pizza eventually.

This doesn't have a whole lot to do with it, but a lot of people diss avril lavigne and the like (good charlotte, etc.)likers for looking at the outside and not the music. Don't get me wrong, I do too. It's just that these same people who diss avrillikers for not looking at the music for an opinion. do the EXACT SAME THING when it comes to other music. *cough cough hypocrisy cough*

I just diss Avril fans for being ignorant and calling that crap punk.

Sorry folks, that is pop rock crap. It's not punk. Punks don't wear designer clothes. Unless said designer clothes were found at the Salvation Army or a dumpster of course.

I love music snobs. They rank alongside trainspotters and warhammer players as the most interesting people on the planet.

Having said that, we've all been guilty of it in the past (music snobbery, not train spottery).

I can't say i've heard too much of ICP, but i've seen Slipknot live twice and thought they were excellent. Great show, and some of the songs are cool.

If anyone fancies trying to diss me because of this then go ahead, i'll rip you to pieces :)
