Our software doesn't do dynamic keyword filtering like that, thank god. We're just denied access to a pre-set list of sites that have been categorized as containing things like "adult content", hate speech, gambling, MP3s, and -- my favorite -- information on hacking and "Proxy Avoidance Systems". You can apply for an exception if you have a work-related reason why you need one.
So far it hasn't affected anything I do, work-related or recreational (knock on electrons). Whether Stripcreator isn't blocked because it's passed the test or because they don't know about it yet, I don't know.
Nate, does it stop you from sending text that would be edited when it received it back? Like posting obscenities on a message board, I mean? Or does it just work one way?
