These Comic Cup rules tend to be a little restrictive. Sometimes that helps pop out a pretty funny comic. Sometimes it's just too damn hard and they just ain't funny. But when that happens, it's nice not to mention it. Like evil_d mentioned, your duty as a judge is to decide which is better, even if they aren't funny. Try to find some redeeming point in one of them, in this case.

We can't all be funny all of the time. And when we're not, we'd prefer not to know it.

1) I wasn't offended. People make disparaging comments all the time.

2) You and Kaufman are both very funny strippers it's just that this rounds strips, despite being in the water, left me a bit dry. I certainly didn't want to give the impression that they were bad. Bad comics are done by the likes of Amazing Porno Bunny and others
who wouldnt know humor if they were beat to death by it. I didn't think either of your comics were bad, they just didn't strike me as particularly funny. All people have varying senses of humor and at some point someone will simply look at a comic we think is great and just not think it funny. It is nothing to be offended about, trust me. I have had remarks about my comics that plainly said they didnt find it funny and often in less than civil words. That's cool. I chaulk it up to the afore mentioned differences in humor and get on with making more comics.

Heck, I won't hesitate to say it was far from my funniest comic. Frankly, I thought the rules that came up made it extremely difficult to make a genuinely hilarious compliant strip. No idea if habnem agrees, that's just my take.

But that's one thing about the nature of the Comic Cups -- sometimes you're given lemons and have to make due with them, after all, your opponent is wrestling with the same constraints.

If I was to be unable to make a really funny comic as a whole, my hope was to stick in a few funny bits here and there to hit home with the judges. I got enough votes to suggest that that goal was not unattainable.

Anyway, I haven't voted in every comic cup match I was eligible to. And it wasn't due to the level of humor either. Whether good or bad, I couldn't find a distinction between those particular two. I'm hoping that if habnem and I had both put out "9.9"s, NastyPope would have been just as loath to choose between us.

Beyond that fact that you misquoted me you also seem to have a strange concept of civility. I did not say, for example, "Fuck, those comics sucked cock, im not even going to waste a vote on that bullshit. You guys are fuckin losers, how the fuck did you ever make it past the first round you shit eaters?" that would be considered uncivilized. Mine may have been curt and to the point, but it was civil.

Well... that was a smiley little happy hour wasn't it? I can't remember having such a gay old time. But all good things must come to an end. So let's move on to the finals where the defeated participants send me one rule each (to my email link below). I will compile (and if necessary interpret) them and then post the rule set here for the clash between DexX and kaufman.

Any time you change what someone said, it is no longer a quote and the meaning can change in unexpected ways. If you are going to quote someone do it correctly or do not do it at all.

That ideal hasnt seemed to stop you or anyone else from doing the same. That seems to be the status quo of hypocracy I see here.

Your example has no relation to what had transpired previously as yours was purely an attack. "go suck a horse's cock" and "Please go fellate a domesticated equine" are both directed, baseless insults and yes,
they did mean the same thing. Mine, however, did not mean the same thing. One was the honest truth, which I admit, could insult someone but wasn't meant to, and my fictitious example which was meant to be insulting.
