Have you ever been a parent? I mean, I know you think your parents are real twats, and maybe they are, but I don't think you can judge them until you've been in their shoes.

Don't get me wrong, I fight with my parents every day of my life, but I try to see things from their perspective. I mean, it can't be all easy feeding and clothing children, working every day of your life just to get nowhere and then have someone unappriciative of you.

I *am* going to become my dad. Maybe not a smoker like him, or as tall, or as fat, but I've already started with the awful, awful puns.

Good comics btw.

I had a feeling you might comment achicka, and yes I totally agree with you. In the past, I used to bear a huge grudge over my parents for the mistakes they've made. I was just angry at them all the time. But now that I've grown up just a little, I have come to silent agreements with my Mom and Dad. I did imagine myself in their shoes, and I can picture somewhat the hardships of parenting. Every day I am thankful and appreciative for their love and the support they've given me and they know that as stated in my last comic. (I just wanted to add a little twist in the end.)

I hope this justifies my comics.

P.S. I'm not a mama's boy

Liar!
I never asked you to justify your comics. However, I feel that "Parenting 101" was an inappropriate title for this thread, and the only reason you knew I'd post was that the title would catch my attention.

Match, I don't mean anything against you. Actually, I can't think of a reason to hate you, though I'm sure dcom can. Therefore I'm just saying my peace.

I don't give a shit about your relationship with your parents.

Your comics were extremely funny.

And that's all that matters.

Funny, in my family that gene skipped a generation.

I buzzed my hair and put on my Costello style glasses recently and bang, I was my Dad. That bad pun thing, there must be something they put in the water, especially Kaufman's water.

Enough about me. Good comics, Matchbook.

This is true, chicka. Just remember, though, that your child is a blank canvas and every action you take, word you utter, or thing you do is a brushstroke on that canvas. Words to live by, seriously.
