Actually doing it: Aside from it being a joke and a good way to get rid of idiot Bush supporters, probably the same reason that everybody and their brother had the damn flags on their cars while it was fashionable after 9/11 but after about a week the only one's that still had the flags on their cars are the one's who used stickers instead of the waving flags that fell off every time you rolled down your window.

That in and of itself is a testament to the sad state of affairs in this country...a wasteland of poor discarded car flags littering the gutters of the highways of America. What a county.

You would kind of figure, though, that people driving without headlights on a Friday night are just as liable to take out someone whose headlights are lit as they are to take out themselves.
