Agreed. But I have to admit that this comic actually does amuse me for some reason. If some work were put into it, it might actually be pretty good.
To start with, I'd lose the trash can guy's thought bubble in the first panel. You don't have to fill up every available space with text. The old lady's question is a fine place to begin. And why is she an old lady, anyway? Seems like the little girl from the Three Reasons category is a perfect choice for that role; she's part of Sesame Street's target audience. As for the trash can guy, there's no need to squander our audience's short attention span by making him Oscar's brother. Just make him Oscar. Sure, he's not green and furry, but you can't get too hung up on appearances around here. Trash cans and old ladies don't float in the air next to skyscrapers either, but that doesn't stop anyone. Plus you can save about panel's worth of set-up. Finally, even though Oscar yelling "BITCH I LIVE IN A FUCKING TRASH CAN!!!" is a funny thought, I think we can fit a little more into the punchline. Sure, we know it can't be good to live in a trash can, but give us some examples of why.

Swearing, sex, booze... I think that should cover it. Pardon me while I ruin everyone's childhood memories here.
The trash can guy is one of my favorite characters, but it's hard to think of how to use him. I can't believe I made the Endgame connection immediately, but never thought of Sesame Street.
