Hey there folks. As you can see, I'm pretty new. After browsing a bit, I decided it would be fun to make a few comics based on my nerdy side. I didn't see anything like what I've done either.

 These are really tailored more for people who play/ed MMOs, particularly World of Warcraft. What little I've done so far won't make much sense if you aren't into it.

 As a side note, I've made a few grammatical errors, so please excuse them. (Newbie blunder)

Like your suggestion to me, read things please. It's explained at the begging of this post. Wow = World of warcraft. Like I said, if you don't play, you won't get it.

As for me "wasting time", oh well. I didn't see that feature. Regardless, what ever amount of time it took me is not your concern, but thank you.

Its seems a horrible, horrible waste of time to keep cranking out nothing but WOW inspired comics for the horrible, horrible little people who play it.

Your comics are well contructed, coherent and cohesive, and yet I don't get to enjoy them just because I don't play WOW.

Doesn't seem fair is all I'm sayin. You could be changing the world right now.

Thank you for the input. I'll consider doing a different theme, but for now I'm going to stick with my current theme. It's a little different from what I've seen around here, and it's not a bad warm up.

As for people who play Wow, I personally enjoy it, but hey to each their own.

I really think RC was sincerely trying to help you and I found your response to be very off putting. Border line rude. That being sad, I have rated you bad and will not be reading your comics ever. I also don't play WoW so your comics wouldn't appeal to me anyway.

So you came here to tell me off for what exactly, over some comics, really? I don't recall putting a gun to your head, forcing you to read them. As I said, these are tailored for people who do play wow. Is it that so hard to read and understand? Surely you can occupy yourself with some comics that are more to your style and liking.

While I appreciate RC pointing me in the direction of the FAQs section, he could have done so constructively instead of being condescending. Generally speaking, respect and polite behavior is given where it's due. He was rude to me, so he recieved the same thought in kind, simple as that. He and you should have thought about that before posting rudely in beginning.

Maybe you have some sort of edgy/standoffish cutsey alter ego here, or you're just like all the other countless dull and boring internet trolls with nothing better to do, but either way I'm unimpressed. If you don't like my comics that's okay, but don't expect me to to accomodate you. I don't find you funny, or remotely intimidating. Rate me what ever you want to, I'll still keep doing my thing regardless.

No, one was trying to intimadate you and I find you ruder now than I did before. 

It is important for every new user at a forum to come in guns a blazing to set himself apart from the rest I suppose. I didn't feel RC was being condescending, I felt he was pointing out a frequent problem by new users in a funny way and you took offense because you didn't figure it out on your own. Now I may be inferring too much, but you obviously seem like a sensitive soul with thin skin after your response to my pointless babble. Since you own this place now, I'll leave you to your den of comic posting and we can both ignore eachother from this point on. Enjoy your thread and Stripcreator. That comic is not about mean forum users. If you didn't like my comics, find others to read. Problem solved.

After these rude displays here, it's no wonder these forums are a ghost town. Everyone who posts something likely gets jumped on by trolls. I find it a waste of time, and as such I'm not going to be posting my comics on these forums any longer. It's not worth the effort or time, only to have things resort to petty drama.

After carefully reviewing the whole thread just to make sure I had an inkling of what I was talking about, I have to say this:

Shut the fuck up Crabby.

Cut the guy some slack, he's new to the site. RC could've been more polite in pointing out his initial error. I would've replied in much the same way, all bristly and shit. He was quite polite and well spoken in his initial reply to you, and justifiably snarky to RC's post.

I'm usually one of the brutally blunt with the average toad that stumbles upon this site and proceeds to cranking out unintelligible, unfunny comics. But it was apparent to me after reading his first few comics that this guy can actually build a comic even if I didn't understand the particulars of the subject matter. (overlooking a couple of sequence issues which he has now corrected)

What I'm saying is visit the righteous force that is Crabby unto the illiterate, fumbling masses, not to someone who shows a lot of promise.

If you haven't deterred him from this site I will watch his career with interest.

He came off rude to RC. I like RC, I think RC adds lots of funny things to the site. RC made a funny post to this guy. This guy whinned about it and has shown remarkably thin skin through out all his posts. That is the sort of guy you want around? Someone who only wants positive feedback and can't take a joke? What I'm more concerned about is how someone who has only been registered for 4 days knows exactly whats wrong with the forum and exactly why were all no good and he just knows were mean to EVERYONE and NO ONE would want to stick around here. He is the troll. We used to have fun with these nut jobs.

I don't play WoW but I like this guy's comics. He came out of the gate making good comics and got laid into by crabby... because crabby is a troll. crabby got banned for being a troll and now is in a constant battle with his true nature, fighting the urge to set up mock battles between himself and his own aliases in order to inflame the forums. Brad has to keep one hand on crabby's chain to heel him and prevent unnecessary bullshit from erupting.

 jayo_27, keep it up, your comics are fine... unless you're an alias for crabby. If that's the case, get bent.

Yeah you're right I got some positive comments and some constructive criticism which I appreciate. I just have a low tolorance for antisocial behavior. I wouldn't say I flipped out persay, I was pissy and annoyed yes.

In the long run though, it won't really matter if I post here or not. Someone else will come along who's got better material anyway. As a matter of fact there are a lot of regular comic creators who are currently active, and have better material than I do.

Material improves with work.  Comic stripping is like masturbation:  the more often you do it, the better you get.  Also, lotion helps.

There's joking, and then there's just being an asshole who tries to hide behind poor humor; That's my issue. I don't know RC, I don't know you either. How am I to understand your strange humor, if that was the intent? (which it obviously wasn't) Would you walk up to someone on a street you didn't know and jokingly call them a cocksucker? You came at me about an issue that had absolutely nothing to do with you. In fact, you left me a rude message even before that about supporting a forum user you don't approve of. If that's your idea of "humor" and how you welcome new people, seek professional help. If there was any kind of misunderstanding between RC and I, He/She could have sent me a PM and we could have worked it out. The fact of the matter is, that didn't happen. That shows that my reaction was justifiable and that there was no misunderstanding.

I'm open to constructive criticsm. Like or dislike my themes, feedback is appreciated, and my previous posts prove that. The key word there is "constructive", which you weren't.

You're not concerned with me at all. Your only concern is how large the shitstorm you can stirr up is, and who you can piss off. If my material and behavior is so horrible, why are you still posting and reading this thread? The short answer is, you're a troll.

I'm still figuring this stuff out. All I wanted to do was create some comics, share them, check out what others are doing, give and get some feedback. I just wanted have fun. I didn't expect everyone to like what I was doing, that's understandable.
