Who knows what the right number for any new comic contest is these days? 569 seems like as good a choice as any.
Here are the rules, based on the stupid pun that I came up with for a title:
The first panel of your comic must contain a dog character. This can be dog-on-a-ball from the "threereasons" category, or either the dog or dog-puppet characters from the "kaddar2" category. It must not contain the witch from the "holiday" category.
The last panel of your comic must contain the witch character, and must not contain any of the dog characters.
Obviously your comic has to be longer than one panel.
Everything else is up to you. But it'll help your chances if your comic is funny.
The victor gets bragging rights, and the honor of creating and judging Comic Contest 570 (or whatever crazy number you come up with).
Let's keep this contest short and sweet, or at least short. I'll judge it Saturday morning, or thereabouts. That means you have about four days.
