I tried really hard last competition to think of an idea that would use the new art Injokester kindly provided for our stripping pleasure though I didn't quite manage it, and other than retconning the characters into a couple of old strips Ive yet to give these babies a true run out, so this has prompted the theme for CC 586.

The rules this time are;

1) Use at least one character from Injokester2 catagory

Here's a neat overview of the new characters available (link)

2) The general premise is something or someone new (new person starting in an office for example,  or anything else new, new year, new york, new pants, etc), though feel free to ignore it if it's getting in the way of teh funnay, rule 1 is a given though.

[i'm actually white, but you get the general idea.]

xander works at jimmy johns, is an engineering student, is in the band, interns at the worker justice center,and leads our food not bombs chapter. he's a lot of fun. helen is a sculptor, a student, works at jimmy johns,and looks a bit like a young marilyn monroe. i have a crush on her and sylvia. jim is a dubstep dj, has a pierced septum and some tattoos, is a bit of a hippie, even more than the rest of us, drives a volvo. his cat is fat, pleasant to be around, helps make the place a home. because the lease limits us to 8 people, our friend ninetails doesn't live here yet. add in 4 volvos, 4 boxes of worms, a 20 room building, 3000 sq ft. we are in the ghetto, but right where we are is open fields and such.
