Apache crashed yesterday at 3. It took until now to find that out and get the box rebooted. One day things will be stable, I swear to god.

I've heard much about how Linux is stable and assumed that applications written to run on Linux would be stable, too. Is that not the case?

The guy who's taking care of the system administration side of things claims he's never seen Apache crash before. The box was brand new had never been rebooted so he (and I) are hoping it was just a bizarre one time thing. If it happens again he's going to re-do it all.

On the up side, I know how to get the box rebooted now. I try to learn a little something every time Stripcreator goes down. I can yo-yo a lot better now too.

He's probably thinking "Everything was fine until those SC goons arrived".

Funny you should mention that, Kajun. My theory is that this was the most vile of a string of actions taken by Bear and Horse.

Some downtime and wierdness Saturday afternoon. Very sorry. I "think" (assuming that quote works) everything should be 'super' stable now.
