Just to clarify, being anti-war doesn't mean you hate America. It just means you don't want our American troops to be sent off to death.
No matter how fast it took to win the war, we shouldn't get cocky as a nation and start being arrogant. We might go to war with Korea, and if we do that means China could get involved. That could be bad...very bad.
War isn't good, but sadly our president is a redneck. So its kinda obvious that we are going to war. I hope we have better choices next year...

What Eww(etc) means to say is:

Politically dogmatic comics aren't funny. Try something that doesn't try to force your viewpoint on other people. Whether they agree with you or not, it's just not funny. (Not to mention that most users here are pretty much diametrically opposed to your viewpoint, so expect a good flaming later.)

I do appreciate that you managed to post your comics in the page, though. Yay, FAQ.

And sorry, Eww. I'm afraid next election, the only way we'll see a decent candidate is if everyone writes in my name.

I often wonder, when I see people driving around with a "I support our troops" sticker on their car... would they feel as comfortable with a "I support the war" sticker on their car?

As an American, I love my country, and I support our troops. That's exactly why I don't want them in harm's way for no legitimate reason.

Anyway, your pro-war (or anti-anti war, if you prefer) cartoons are more like Jack Chick tracts, rather than comic strips. In fact, most of your comics are preachy rather than witty.

Aw, poop. I didn't read the FAQ and I hosed up my html link to chick.com. Try this one instead.

And quit fronting.

Don't be so damn sensetive people!

If it was a comic making fun of the conservatives or Pres. Bush it would be consedered funny.

Just because I make 2 "comics" about the "anti-war" movement, does not automaticly mean that I am some who knows what, tyring to shove my point of view "down everybody's throat".

Think about it. Anti-war protests are consedered good forms of expression, but when any body has another point of view and try's to express it, in any way, they are consedered agenda pushers(FOR LACK OF BETTER TERM).

Any one who says that the anti-war protesters are'nt trying to shove there point of view down others throats; is either lying, doesn't get the whole picture or are just blind.

I did not mean to rant and rave here, nor did I mean to get people upset.

Regardless of the 2 comics in question, how are the others?

Note to people who don't udnerstand economics: The stock market is not the freakin' economy people! The stock market had a bit of a bump because all the rich people and corporations are sinking a bunch of money into non-taxed stocks with dividends. increases in the stock market mean squat for the economy as a whoel and the average American worker. Try this, unemployment just reached 6.1%, the highest in 9 years. The deficit will be something like $44 Trillion. Government services are being cut left and right. Layoffs are still happening all over.

Yeah, the economy is going SWIMMIGNLY. Hoo-ray for tax cuts for the rich, they did so well when Reagan tried it, why wouldn't it work now right? right? Oh yeah, they didn't work then either. Guess that's why 450 economists and a bunch of Nobel Laureate economists signed a letter against the tax cuts.

What was that moral again?

I'll stop now since this shoudl be in the Fights Go Here board

If it were a funny comic making fun of conservatives or President Bush, then sure. But I feel that the political comics you posted above suffer because they contain nothing that I would be willing to classify as "humor".

Some of your others were a little better, but not much. The redneck one was a good effort, but ultimately it failed to make me laugh, possibly because it's really a very old joke. I might recommend finding some other comic authors who do make you laugh and studying their work before you continue.

Good luck and welcome to Stripcreator.

You are right, descolada99. The unemployment rate did go to 6.1 percent, but that is much lower than most believed it would. Draw your own opionion.

If I hear anybody else blame President Bush for the economy I am going to scream! People forget that the so-called good economy that we had during the 90's was partly just inflation. People also forget that our economy was in recession before Bush took office. Further more we have had this little thing that we call the war on terror. Freedom is not free, so of course you are not going to have as much money as you did.

I liked the redneck one best. Punchline was sweet and simple... though you could have chosen a better redneck joke between the two executives.
