Jeanster please read my convertible school bus series. I was like you, when I first started I wondered how in the hell some of these guys had hundreds of strips, but now I have over a hundred, it's like they are making themselves somehow, or maybe I have a team of comedy(ish) writers chained to radiators in my basement. 'Jim Davis can't come to the phone right now'.

Actually, I did find it a wee bit odd to be addressed as "Dude" here in this thread by nicejohnson. Is that how it works these days where males AND females are addressed that way by people who use that word? I am SO out of step when it comes to current slang sometimes.
But in answer to your question, I never meant it as a "Stop calling me Dude" vibe. I was just making conversation. Although it does kind of work out that way as a vibe, huh? Funny.
And I will most certainly make time later this evening to read your convertible school bus series. Thanks for alerting me to it.
