I kinda liked the comic. And I get the impression your narraration box was sarcastic, since so many people do drugs nowadays it can't possibly be unique. If infact it was sarcastic, then I think it makes your comic that much funnier.
"It is true! If you do drugs you're automatically a unique and interesting individual who deserves other's attention!!"
drugs dont make you an indivdual, lots of people do drugs, i smoke pot and im not an "individual" people dont come up to me and go, WHOA your different.
quote:The first two panels aren't funny on their own. It's their juxtaposition with the inanity of panel 3 which creates the humour.
I guess there's some humor in that. I liked the first two panels on their own, or maybe I just liked where I thought they were going. The first makes fun of people who think that doing drugs makes them special, which is well and good. Then the strip heads off on a tangent when the robot starts talking about things he can't do -- his own genuine philosophy standing in contrast to the kid's ignorance. I would have liked to see something come of that. The third panel just felt like a cop-out. Though I guess it's kind of funny that the robot suddenly expresses excitement at the prospect of fellatio when he was just talking about being unable to experience pleasure. I'm pretty sure I'm overanalyzing this.
You're all missing the point. People who do drugs are unique and interesting individuals who deserve others' attention. Of course, that goes for people who don't do drugs as well.
