CNN.com broke a headline saying Kerry called GWB and conceded the election.

Since Bush needs 270 electoral votes to win, and he doesn't get it, the only way for him to win would be for Kerry to concede the election. CNN.com is saying that is exactly what he's done.

Welcome to four more years of lies, death, war, and evil.

Haw.

Sadly I tested negative for Stanley Cup Fever and the doc said he couldn't find the characteristic extra "A" at the end of my DNA "sentences".

Here's what I don't get: If 51% of the US voted for the guy, then that means half the people posting here voted for the guy, excluding Boink (Canadian), Jes (Londoner), and Andy Dougan (ward of the state). So Mikey and Kaufman, one of you has betrayed me this night. Who was it?

Doesn't matter who anyone here voted for unless they lived in a "swing state," honestly.

I could have voted KajunFirefly for president for all the good it would have done.

I thought Kerry would win, but as close as this election was I'm not surprised Bush won. What surprised me was how much he won by. Hopefully Bush learned from his mistakes in his first term and doesn't repeat them.

Yeah, right, M3t4. And Dick Cheney just farted a bouquet of posies.

Recently banned, JDPLVY has returned in a much more subtle form (hopefully being smart enough to stay away from the forums now).

The strips above show how one slightly deranged, confused and yet somehow savvy New Yorker weighed in on the subject of the elections...

Posted fresh from the front page.

From http://www.electoral-vote.com/

quote:
One thing that is very strange is how much the exit polls differed from the final results, especially in Ohio. Remember that Ohio uses Diebold voting machines in many areas. These machines have no paper trail. Early in the campaign, Diebold CEO Walden O'Dell, a GOP fundraiser, promised to deliver Ohio to Bush. He later regretted having said that.

Tip of the iceberg. 4 more years of a stolen presidency here we come.

The good news is now history will blame the up-coming quagmire in the middle-east completely on Bush rather than a few suggesting Kerry was to blame as well.

Don't count out the possibility of a Vilsack/Obama ticket in 2008. The past few presidents have been governors and Iowa's got that whole "midwestern heartland" image going for it...
